One to One Coaching
Coaching is now recognised as one of the most effective professional development interventions.
To me, coaching is a courageous conversation between coach and client, in which the client can explore their thinking, feeling, behaviour and perspective on reality they have in the various roles they have in their professional and private worlds. This can be a clarifying, exploratory, developmental or change focused process. Coaching can facilitate learning & development, expand your capacity & resource and improve your relationships.
Coaching can be a life-changing opportunity in which I support you to pause for a moment and ask yourself; What do I think? How do I feel? How effective is my behaviour? Is my perspective useful? My agenda is to provide you with a process that is supportive, useful, impactful and sustainable. And it goes without saying I aim to have fun along the way!
Sometimes people come to coaching seeking advice and to hear another’s experience or perspective. While this is not coaching I believe this can be of benefit from time to time. I refer to this as mentoring - mentoring is a learning relationship, involving the sharing of skills, knowledge, and expertise between a mentor and mentee through developmental conversations, experience sharing, and role modelling. My sense of working with people for the last 15+ years is that effective coaching can involve an aspect of mentoring if this is what the client is seeking.

Team Building, Development & Coaching
Team Building
Team building is the process of forming a team so that the team cohesively works together towards their common goal. The importance and main purpose of team building is to form a strong team through creating bonds and connections. This is usually required whenever the leadership or membership changes.
Team Development
Team development can only occur once the team is built, at this point development ensures that the team can thrive in the long term. Engaging team development benefits the team in a number of ways. Individual members of a team learn more about their personal potential, duties, and work dynamically within the team. Team development supports the team with their ongoing professional development whilst norming and performing.
Team Coaching
The purpose of Team coaching is two fold:
1. To realise the teams reason for existence. What is the reality of living their purpose?
2. To explore the purpose of the team in relation to other teams, functions, parts of the organisation or other stakeholders. What is the role of the team with other parts of the system? Who is the team in relation to other stakeholders?
A team coaching process supports teams to align around a common purpose, establish an inspiring vision, create healthy team relationships with clearly defined roles, be accountable for behavior as well as outcomes, and make constructive decisions in line with the team and organizational goals. Team coaching can be particularly useful when a team is in conflict, storming, is under threat from other areas or is coming to a major ending.

Coaching Supervision
What is supervision?
There are many definitions of coaching supervision and the one that resonates most for me is:
“A safe space for reflective dialogue with a practicing supervisor, supporting the supervisee’s practice, development and well-being.
The purpose of supervision is
To ensure the supervisee maintains appropriate professional standards
To facilitate the development of the supervisee’s professional practice
To provide support for the supervisee’s well-being” EMCC Global
Ways we can work together:
Standalone 1:1 supervision
This is a one-off supervision session (1 – 2 hour dependent on your needs) which will get to the heart of a supervision issue.
1:1 supervision programmes
If you are looking for a more long-term supervision relationship, there is an option to commit to 6 or 12 months of support. I offer email &/or phone support throughout the length of your programme. 6 month programme includes 3 x 90 minute sessions & access to 1 group supervision session. 12 month programme includes 6 x 90 minute sessions & access to 2 group supervision sessions.
1:1 Mentor Coaching
An opportunity to have feedback on a recorded coaching session, either using the ICF Core Competencies OR a bespoke set of co-created assessment criteria. If you are looking to work on a specific area of your coaching, requiring ICF mentor coaching hours or simply feel it's time for a check in, this is an ideal opportunity to reflect with a sounding board and gain some objective feedback. 1 hour set up session, 45 mins - 1 hour recorded coaching session with a coachee of your choice followed by 60 minutes mentor coaching once I have viewed or listened to the recording.
Open group supervision
I run an open supervision group throughout the year, that meets monthly for approx. 4 hours. Group numbers are always kept low (6 max). Please let me know if you like a place, I contract for 3 months at a time Jan – March, April – June, July - Sept and Oct - Dec.
Closed group supervision
I run a closed supervision group each year beginning in January, that meets monthly for approx. 4 hours. Group numbers are always kept low (6 max). I offer email &/or phone support throughout the length of the group to each individual member. I will run additional closed groups upon request.
